Australia does not need the United Nations.

The United Nations was a body created after the tragedies of World War Two. It was created to unify the world in PEACE. In the 75 years since its inception, we have had 285* wars around the world.

# The number of State Based armed conflicts declined slightly from 53 in 2016 to 49 in 2017 with the Islamic State active in 31% of them

# The number of non – state conflicts increased from 62 in 2016 to 82 in 2017.

# PRIO says ‘While violence levels decreased slightly from the all time high of 2016, non-state conflicts and internationalised intrastate conflicts continue to challenge the international communities ability to achieve global peace’.

None of the above provides any comfort to indicate that the United Nations can maintain world peace or that it is an organization that we should welcome to manage Australia’s peaceful society.
